Ben and Devon in Japan Stories Travel Information

Ben and Devon’s First Day in Osaka

For the first day and after Devon has adjusted to the time zone with his first overnight sleep. We decided to explore the area a little bit and started at Shinsekai before visiting the zoo.

The zoo on some levels was great and Devon enjoyed a few of the animals before his morning nap. We then realised we didn’t have a hat for him so, because we had multiple entry tickets, we headed to Shin Sai Bashi to get him a hat and see some of the main sites in Osaka.

After having some lunch and going back to the zoo we noticed that some of the other enclosures for the bears and monkeys were to small and the animals were clearly distressed, this took the shine of our visit to the zoo.

From the Zoo we headed to the near by Harukas 300 building, which is the tallest building in Japan. The views from the observatory on the 60th floor were stunning and Devon loved it, especially with all the attention he was getting as well ;-).

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
