I arrived at Montreal train station yesterday evening from Ottawa and walked 20 minutes to the hostel.
This morning after breakfast I went for a long walk and got lost before regaining my bearings. Then I noticed the old port area, followed by the Old Town and then I spotted the Notre-Dame Basilica, having looked around this beautiful place I started strolling back to the hostel to see some other sights along the main street. Most of the main sights in a day!
For lunch I had the Canadian dish of Poutine which is a Cheesey Potato mix, a little like Gnocchi. I had it mixed with broccoli, carrots and french fries with gravy and I really enjoyed it.
This evening I am planning on going to Grumby’s Bar, which is near my hostel, to hear the two singers who were on the train from Jasper to Toronto perform again.
The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
