Wildlife and Scenic Tour of Jasper

I was hoping to go Ice Walk around frozen water falls today but this trip would not start until the 1st of December, if the ice is thick enough to walk on. Instead I booked my self on a wildlife and Scenic tour of Jasper.

When I got picked up by Sundog tours we headed towards Forte Point Summit and did not see and wildlife but I did see the same views as I had the day before.

From here we head east out of Jasper where we saw a gang of Elks and the two males had flight which was cool to watch. We then drove to Pyramid lake, which was good because I wanted to see this lake and mountain so that was a result. The only animal we saw here was a very hungry squirrel stuffing its face to get enough fat before hibernating for the winter.

At the end of the 3 and half hour trip we headed for drive out of Jasper to see if we could spot any more animals. We were lucky enough to see some mountain goats and Coyote.

The trip was well worth the $60 (£30) to see those animals and even more amazing scenery.

I now hope to go on the ice walk trip, if not I will don some Snow Shoes and walk from the hostel up the mountain to see some more great views, which should be an interesting experience.

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
