This morning I hopped on the bus back to Hamilton to see the other Flying Lancaster in the World. This is situated in the Canadian War Plane Heritage (CWH) Museum near Hamilton airport, the other is in Lincolnshire in the UK.
Getting to Hamilton was simple, I just needed to catch the GO bus from Union to the main Hamilton terminal ($23.50 return). From there I had to ask a few people and I found out at weekends I needed to catch the number 27 HSR (Hamilton Street Railway) to the Upper James Street station where I would transfer to a ‘TransCab’ to reach the Museum. It took 40 minutes or so and cost $6 (£3 return), which I thought was very reasonable. If I had gone on a weekday I could have caught the 20 HSR straight to the Museum.
The museum had quite alot exhibitions, but like most of Canada the main ones are refurbished or updated during the quieter winter months and this was no different here. The Lancaster was being stripped down, but it was still a great thing to see and well worth the trip.
Once I got back to Toronto it was dark and had been told that this is the best time to go up the CN tower (CN stands for Canada National, their national train company). The views were amazing and they has additional features of a walk around the outside and a glass floor, which actually freaked me out abit. Apparently CN tower was the first to have this sort of attraction. I am still undecided if it was worth the £17 to go up, but felt I had to whilst in Toronto, didn’t I?

Hi mate,
Glad you went? VeRA looks amazing, I`m sure Yvonne will like those too. Sarah just told me, it cost her and Jack, £50 to go up the Shard in London, so you got a bargain! As for that view, its AMAZING!!!
