Climbing the 262 steps to the top of St Isaacs Cathedral was well worth the effort.
The inside was pretty impressive and may well have been more impressive had I not visited the ‘The Church on Spilled Blood‘ yesterday.
Todays lessons are:
- Remove my hat when entering a church. ( I always forget that! )
- Corn on the cob sold at street stalls are great for a vegetarian in Russia
- A rainy day does not mean a horrible day
- I don’t remember anything the commentator stated on today’s boat trip down the River Neva.
