Folk Dancing and Great Beaches

Yesterday evening I went to ‘watch’ folk dancing and go for some food with a few of Dennis’ old students who are now working in Boracay. Dennis is in Manila at a meeting.

Once we got to the dancing and ate some food I ended up getting pulled up on the stage to have ago. Just like all my other dancing I did not quite have the rhythm but did not lack the enthusiasm.

This morning at 7am I met up with his ex students again to go and see a couple beaches. The first, Puka, was really quiet and nice to swim in. The second beach was getting busier and was called Dimiwid. This beach was beautiful and the best part was that I saw an instructor teaching a couple Australians an amazing filipino martial art called ‘Eskrima’. This is something I was hoping to learn whilst I was here, but had not been able to find, so I approached him and we agreed a price and left it that I needed to email to arrange a time and place to practice.

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
