The only night I could stay in the 9 hour hotel was the Friday night because it was fully booked after that. I booked up and took the last bed.
I then had to find hostel for the other remaining nights and to my surprise there were none, so I treated myself to hotel (and a bath!!!).
It cast just under 10 times as much as a hostel but was worth it to not have to share a toilet and shower for a couple of days.
That said I would not class the hotel as 10 times better than a hostel, so I only stayed Saturday and Sunday and then went back to sharing again.
