The Sun White Hotel in Osaka was the only a hotel available by the time I came to booking accommodation, and I got the last room! It cost £53 a night which is 5 times more than I have been paying for a bed for night in Japan, So that has come as a shock. The reason is that this weekend was a bank holiday weekend in Japan.
The bed was comfortable and the room was nice with a big tv that I could link up to watch films from Laptop. I watch Kill Bill with its very Japanese scenes. Brilliant!
Although the room was good it was not 5 times better than a hostel. I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before moving to a hostel for a few night and then I pick up my keys for an apartment for me and my friend who is visiting for two weeks from the 19th of October.
