Travelling alone and not really liking Selfie Sticks, a feeling which was increased on my recent trip to London when walking across Westminster Bridge, I had to decide on another solution.
I would like to introduce you to ‘Happy Hippo’. I like Hippos because they make me laugh, and yawn ;-). I particularly like this Hippo because it helps me remember how kindness can change ones perspective.
This little gift really helped change my feelings from being upset into one of happiness. So I can think of no better companion for my trip than ‘Happy Hippo’.
Any photos which have ‘Happy Hippo’ in it can be noted that it is a photo in which I would have appeared had I not been travelling alone. Any photos in which I do appear are very unlikely to be selfies, and will mean I have met someone I trust enough to hold my phone and take a photo.
