Tissue Dispenser – South Korea

Walking through the Shinsegae Centumcity in Busan, South Korea I spotted this futuristic looking Tissue Dispenser face staring back at me. I love the way it looks so happy.

I am not totally sure of this faces characteristics yet, but I am thinking that instead of speaking everything he wants to say comes out written on the piece of paper like a printer. His eyes may be lights or they may be a flip style lid like on a bin lid ( see the second picture ) and we can tell his emotions based on the colour of his eyes.

Update – 16th October 2015
The third little character I have created reminds me a little of a ninja and seeing as I am in Japan and very much looking forward to visiting the Ninja museum next week I give the little guy the traits of a ninja. He is very quiet and can not be heard approaching, making him very good at making people jump. My initial idea for his name is either Nigel or To-Ki-Ji-Ku-Ta (TO-KI-JI for short) converting Nigel in to his Ninja name using the Ninja Name Generator .

Once again I would love feedback on this illustration and any views you have.

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
