Hook Face – Boracay, Philippines

I spotted this face in the toilet at McDonalds in Boracay.

When I showed this face to Dennis he said that it reminded him of a combination on Disney’s Dumbo and Pinocchio. With this in mind I like the idea of this character have different personalities when he is feeling sad to when he is feeling happy.

When he is sad and feeling purple he can be self absorbed and get caught up in Moppy’s schemes, but when content and feeling brighter (green) he is a great listener and can sense with his nose when others are feeling down and in need.

In this case my best idea for a name so far is ‘BLIP’ because I think he shows that our feelings are transient and can change between up and down.

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
