I had a 10 and a bit hour journey to Guilin today. I have some photos to share but not much of story unfortunately because I have sat on train full of people who spoke no English.
Finding the right platform and train was simple once I found the correct building and zeroed in on my train number on the rather busy information boards.
The one quirky thing I would like to share with you is the crisps I bought in Beijing for my lunch. They were Cucumber flavour, which believe it or not was the most normal flavour I could find. No ready salted or cheese onion here at the moment.
After that it was plain sailing right up to the hostel where I am now.
Tomorrow I catch the bus to my destination of YangShuo.

The areas of life I am most interested in are great design, the golden ratio, minimalism, Pareidolia (faces in everyday objects), micro living and finally I will be searching for remarkable human beings who use the power of their mind to achieve amazing effects.
